England players including Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Will Jacks, Jonny Barrister and Sam Curran are all leaving their respective IPL teams to join the senior national team for the T20 series against Pakistan starting May 22.
England will play Pakistan in a four-match T20 series starting May 22 in preparation for their ICC T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies this year. The games will be in Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.

‘We’ll miss you, Jos!’: Royals confirm Buttler’s IPL exit :
Jos Buttler is an important player of Rajasthan Royals. Buttler’s role has been immense since the start of the IPL, from Rajasthan Royals playing every match to the playoffs. But the sad thing is that while all the players can be seen in the ping color jersey of Rajasthan Royals, Buttler will not be seen anymore. “We’ll miss you, Jos bhai!,” Rajasthan Royals official X handle tweeted.
Buttler has scored 359 runs at an average of 39.88 and a strike rate of 140.78 in 11 innings in this 2024 IPL. He scored two centuries this season and his highest score in this 2024 season is 107*.
Will Jacks and Reece Topley leave RCB camp :
RCB two England players all-rounder Will Jacks and pacer Reece Topley have also been sent off for the ICC T20 series in their home countries. Which is a sad news for RCB. Because Will Jacks has been seen playing great in this IPL of 2024. In a match this season, RCB lost all wickets but Will Jacks century helped RCB win.

Playing 8 innings for RCB in this 2024 IPL, Jacks scored 230 runs at an average of 32.85 and a strike rate of over 175 with a century and a half-century. His highest run score in this IPL is 100*. Moreover, speaking from the bowling line, he has taken two wickets. And Topley took four wickets in just four innings for RCB.
Liam Livingstone back home for T20 World Cup :
In this year’s 2024 IPL, the players of Punjab Kings did not get a chance in the playoffs because the bowling line-up and batting line-up did not perform like that. England player Livingstone is an important and reliable player for Punjab Kings. Two days ago, Livingstone announced his departure to England for the ICC T20 series on Instagram. He said, “IPL done for another year, had to get my knee sorted for the upcoming World Cup,” Livingstone wrote on Instagram.

Playing seven innings for the Punjab Kings, Livingston scored 111 runs at an average of 22.20 and a strike rate of 142.30 with a highest run score of 38* and also took three wickets.

Other England Cricketers Back Home from IPL :
Apart from Jos Buttler, Will Jacks, pacer Reece Topley and Livingston, other England players Phil Salt, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran and Jonny Bairstow have not been informed on social media or any tweets when they will leave the IPL and return to their country.
